Our Background

  The Chapter is a non-profit organization and is one of the many regional chapters of the Building Officials Association of Florida (BOAF), as well as the International Code Council (ICC).

  Since the Chapter’s inception, membership has grown from Building Officials to inspectors, plans examiners contractors, engineers. architects and school districts.

  The Nature Coast Chapter holds monthly meetings to keep our members informed about our industry and to share ideas as well.

  Members enjoy the benefits of our Chapter which includes sponsoring seminars that are approved by the State for continuing education.

  Twice a year, our Chapter awards scholarships to deserving students. (The amount and distribution depends entirely on our fund raising efforts through the annual Golf Outing, Training Sessions, etc.)
